Ellen Verth has worked in the industry since 1987, beginning in the back office in Wood Mackenzie. Then moved on to working in all areas of fund administration with Scottish Equitable before taking a role within the systems team to review their fund and unit cost sheet set up.

After a spell in Glasgow with Abbey National, again as part of the system maintenance team, taking a leading role in the initial EURO conversion. She moved back to Edinburgh to work with HSBC Global Fund Services, where she was instrumental in the implementation and development of their Icon investment accounting system and business processes. After which she managed the systems team on both daily tasks and implementation projects, providing technical expertise and training in all system configuration for the set up of new clients and fund types on the Icon system.

In 2002 she saw a gap in the market for someone to provide this type of service to other businesses.

Since then she has built up an impressive list of clients who have used her for both short and long term consultancy on various types of projects, from OEIC unit cost sheet creation and implementation to training and provision of procedure manuals for all fund types.

Latterly she has created partnerships with other companies which compliment the skills offered with the aim of providing a more comprehensive package.
